The project offers an initial assessment to identify goals, barriers, and needs and an action plan will be created to address the items identified. All participants must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Offer four non-regulated workshops:

• Confidence and Motivation Workshop
• Employability Workshop
• Personal and Social Development Workshop
• Journey to Work workshop

Acorn assist participants to progress into Apprenticeships, Employment and Education. The coaches provide careers focused Information Advice and Guidance, and Local Labour Market Intelligence to young people to enable them to progress towards their goals. In some circumstances the travel costs for the client can be covered.

Acorn work with various employers and training providers to source new apprenticeship and employment opportunities.

Eligibility:

• 16-24 years old
• Currently living within Coalville or Loughborough
• Not in Education, Employment or Training at another provider at the start of the course
• Willing and looking for a sustained career opportunity
