• Operated on Google Classroom platform
• Completed work is uploaded on to Google Classroom for marking
• Video calls on Google Meets with experienced tutor to discuss work
• 1:1 tailored support and flexible learning
• The course will mainly concentrate on ‘companion’ animals such as; dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and birds with also discussion talking about how to monitor and care for wild animals that you may encounter in the British Countryside as well.

1.  Animal Care Terminology and Animal Classifications
2.  Animal Anatomy & Biology
3.  Animal Handling for both Small and Larger Animals
4.  Basic Animal First Aid for both Small and Larger Animals
5.  Legislation surrounding Animal Welfare
6.  How to carry out an Animal Health Check for both small and large animals
7.  Preparing and maintaining Animal Accommodation for different types of animals
8.  An introduction to British Wildlife and where to find them
9.  Wild Mammal field signs and identification
