About the Apprenticeship

The AI Strategy and Opportunity Apprenticeship Unit is designed for leaders and managers responsible for setting the direction for artificial intelligence within their organisation.

Learners will develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand the capabilities and limitations of AI, identify opportunities for innovation and productivity, and make informed decisions about where AI can add value.

The unit focuses on evaluating risks and opportunities, developing business cases, and creating an AI strategy that aligns with organisational goals, values, and long-term objectives. As organisations increasingly explore the potential of AI, this unit helps leaders build the confidence and capability to make strategic decisions about AI adoption and future investment.

Typically, candidates will be aged 19 or over, be employed, have employer support to undertake the programme, be working in, or progressing towards, a leadership or management role relevant to the unit.

What qualifications will the learner receive?

  • Level 5 Apprenticeship Unit certification for the relevant AI Leadership unit.
