About the Apprenticeship

Cyber Security Technicians support the security of an organisation's IT infrastructure, devices, systems, and data. They help protect organisations against cyber security threats by monitoring systems, implementing security controls, maintaining records, and supporting responses to security incidents.

The role involves carrying out cyber security activities in line with defined procedures and standards, identifying vulnerabilities, contributing to risk assessments, and promoting a positive security culture across the organisation. In today's increasingly digital world, cyber security technicians play a vital role in helping organisations safeguard their information and services from evolving cyber threats.
