About the Apprenticeship
Cyber Security Technologists apply their understanding of cyber security principles to protect organisations, systems, information, personal data and people from cyber-attacks and unauthorised access. Learners develop the knowledge and skills required to assess and manage cyber risks, implement security solutions, respond to incidents and support organisations in maintaining secure digital environments.
Cyber Security Technologists work across a variety of sectors and industries to help organisations defend against threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing and other forms of cyber-attack.
As organisations continue to rely on technology and digital services, Cyber Security Technologists play an increasingly important role in protecting business operations, customer data and organisational reputation.
Typically, candidates will have achieved five GCSEs and/or A Levels; a Level 3 Apprenticeship; or other relevant qualifications and experience.
