On 17th December, we welcomed single parents from the local community to our Newcastle-under-Lyme Centre for a Christmas coffee morning. The event provided a relaxed and welcoming space for parents to come together, enjoy refreshments and take time out during what can be a particularly busy and challenging time of year.
The morning offered an opportunity for families to connect, share conversation and spend time in a supportive environment. For many single parents, the lead-up to Christmas can bring additional pressures, and creating space for informal support and community connection remains an important part of our work.
We were pleased to be supported by the Alice Charity, whose generosity helped make the event possible. Through their support, families received Christmas presents, offering both practical help and reassurance at a time when it is most needed. We are grateful to the Alice Charity for their continued commitment to supporting families and strengthening local communities.
