About the course
This qualification is designed for those learners who are working with or aspire to work with individuals who have dementia. It is a knowledge only qualification, which covers the following areas: dementia awareness, the person-centred approach to the care and support of individuals with dementia, understand the factors that can influence communication and interaction with individuals who have dementia and understand equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia care.
Our courses are free/fully-funded for those aged 19+ who are unemployed, not in education or training, or employed and earning less than £25,000 per year.
