About the course
The Level 2 Safeguarding and Prevent Course is designed for individuals who work directly with children, young people, or vulnerable adults. It provides a deeper understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, focusing on recognising, responding to, and reporting concerns effectively. The course strengthens knowledge of current legislation, professional duties, and best practice guidance, ensuring participants understand their role in protecting those at risk. A key component of the training is the Prevent Duty and learners will explore how to recognise indicators of radicalisation, understand vulnerability factors, and take appropriate action to safeguard individuals from extremist influences.
Our courses are free/fully-funded for those aged 19+ who are unemployed, not in education or training, or employed and earning less than £25,000 per year.
