About the course

The purpose of this course is to develop knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities, how individuals with SEND are impacted on a day to day basis, and how to support them to live independent and fulfilling lives. Topics covered include:

Understand the importance of inclusive learning.
Understand the use of support programmes for individuals with special educational needs and disabilities.
Understand the role of reasonable adjustments
Understand Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)

Eligibility

Our courses are free/fully-funded for those aged 19+ who are unemployed, not in education or training, or employed and earning less than £25,000 per year.

Qualifications

Level 2 Certificate in SEND & Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Distressed Behaviour in Children
