About the course

The course is designed to support the development of coaching and mentoring skills and techniques of individuals and teams, alongside working to achieve organisational objectives. Teaching covers the core skills, knowledge and understanding needed to support others in a coaching and mentoring capacity. A range of areas form this qualification, such as Coaching Skills, Engaging Others in the Learning and Development Process, Mentoring Practice, Preparing for the Coaching Role, and Understanding Mentoring.

Learners must be aged 19+, living in a non-devolved area and in the UK for 3+ years. Learners must also earn below £25,000 annually or below £2084 a month. If you are not eligible for funding, you can still undertake your qualification by applying for an Advanced Learner Loan, with no repayments required until your annual income exceeds £25,000 per year.
