About the course
The Level 3 Technical Specialist Qualification in Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCO) in Early Years Settings is designed for early years practitioners who want to build specialist knowledge and practical skills to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This course is ideal for those currently working as, or aspiring to become, a SENCO. It covers the key responsibilities of the role, effective strategies for supporting children and their families, and provides a clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
We deliver this programme in partnership with Best Practice Network, supporting early years practitioners to strengthen SEND practice and build confidence in their SENCO role.
Our courses are free/fully-funded for those aged 19+ who are unemployed, not in education or training, or employed and earning less than £25,000 per year.
