About the course
This course is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of autism. It provides information around the legislation and theories regarding autism and the range of therapeutic interventions and support available for individuals with autism. This course highlights the importance of effective communication and social interaction with individuals with autism and how to adopt a positive approach when supporting them.
Learners must be aged 19+, living in a non-devolved area and in the UK for 3+ years. Learners must also earn below £25,000 annually or below £2084 a month. If you are not eligible for funding, you can still undertake your qualification by applying for an Advanced Learner Loan, with no repayments required until your annual income exceeds £25,000 per year.
