Statement Update – Following Department for Education Clarification
Earlier this week, we issued a clarification statement regarding a Department for Education investigation report that had incorrectly identified our organisation.
Following further review and clarification from the Department for Education, FE Week has now published its article confirming that Acorn Training Ltd is not the provider involved in the investigation or associated funding recovery. The article explains that the organisation concerned was Acorn Training Consultants, a separate provider, and acknowledges that the initial Department for Education publication contained a naming error.
We appreciate the swift engagement from the Department for Education and FE Week in addressing the confusion and providing clarity for learners, employers, partners and stakeholders.
We are grateful for the many messages of support we have received this week. The response from our network has been overwhelmingly positive and reflects the strength of the relationships we have built with learners, employers, partners and communities across the UK.
It remains business as usual at Acorn Training. We continue to help people develop skills, secure employment and achieve their goals, working closely with learners, employers and partners nationwide.
