About the Apprenticeship
The Operational Excellence Leader Apprenticeship develops professionals who lead and embed continuous improvement across an organisation. Improvement Leaders are responsible for setting improvement strategy, driving performance, and aligning improvement activity with business goals.
Typically reporting to Board members or Heads of Department, they lead and coach teams of Improvement Specialists, providing advanced analytical capability and oversight of major improvement programmes. They work closely with all functions of the business to identify, prioritise, and deliver high-impact improvement initiatives.
Improvement Leaders translate strategic improvement opportunities into well-defined projects and initiatives, often shaping new or improved products, processes, and services. They are accountable for delivering sustainable improvement across the organisation’s largest and highest-priority areas.
There are no formal requirements to apply to do this apprenticeship.
